How Far Along: 28 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Bangert is the size of a Chinese cabbage. About 2 1/4 pounds and almost 15 inches, from head to heel.
Maternity Clothes: I wear maternity jeans and pants but the majority of everything else is regular. Things are getting tighter though!
Gender: It’s a girl!!! We’re still working on names…I sure hope we can get one picked out soon!
Movement: She is a busy little girl, mainly in the evenings when I winding down from the day. I love it though…there is a tiny little life inside me!
Sleep: Eh, it’s been ok! I’m not the best side sleeper and I wake up on my back quite a bit. Plus a few bathroom runs!
What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach, a bigger selection of clothes, and being able to go up & down stairs without getting winded!
Cravings: Pretty sure I don’t got 2-3 days without ice cream! That is pretty normal though! ;) I am quickly finding out the bigger she gets the less I eat…I get full SO fast!
Symptoms: Really can’t complain! Feeling well for the most part, just stiff/achy by the end of the the day.
Best Moment this week: Spending time with my great friend, Sara, and her 2 little girls, Emma & Grace! Aren’t they the sweetest! Grace is the best baby, I’m praying for baby who is laid back like Grace! :)
Emma just turned 2 and is full of energy! We had fun playing & girl chit-chatting the evening away! Emma loved the sleeping bag and headlamp I picked up for her at Target. The headlamp didn’t even have batteries & she still wore it the whole night! ha!

Getting closer...so excited for you!
I giggle at your not being able to sleep on your tummy only because I never use to sleep on my stomach, only on my side. Then I became pregnant and that's all I wanted to do. Once the boys were born I started sleeping on my stomach and that's the only way I sleep now. Too funny! The things we miss!
Sleeping on your side gets so annoying! I used to wake up all the time on my back!
One of my friends at work had to do the follow up glucose test a few weeks ago and passed. Here's hoping for you too! With her first boy, she didn't pass and had to do the diabetic diet.
Good luck!
I'm so glad to hear everything is still going well! And you still look amazing!! Sorry to hear about the glucose test, I hope everything resolves itself soon...
You're so cute! Do you have people come up to you and rub your belly? I always found it odd that people who would never think of touching me while I was not pregnant suddenly felt the urge to touch my belly. LOL And I'd probably do the same to you if I could. Can't wait to see the bundle of cuteness.
You are definitely poppiing out. I love seeing your growing belly. Enjoy your moments of piece before your new arrival. It is all really true that you need to relax and enjoy the moments while you can. :)
As far as the glucose test goes. I failed the first test with both of my pregnancies. The first one I also failed and had GD for the entire pregnancy. My second pregnancy I passed the second test and didn't have any GD. You never know, but either is doable. Don't worry.
I've never been pregnant but I think I would have the worst time not sleeping on my stomach! I can "rest" on my back, but when it comes time to really sleep well, I want to be on my stomach! I had surgery a few years ago and I remember sleeping on my back was the worst part, lol.
Good luck with the glucose test! You look great! :) I'm so happy things are moving along well.
