Started off my Sunday with NO alarm clock! Kyle and I spent our morning putting away our tailgate stuff and cleaning. Before heading to the grocery store I had 1 c watermelon for 1 point.
We stocked up on our food for the week and then headed to lunch with Kyle's family.
I had a grilled chicken sandwich and corn. I didn't eat the top half of the bun and didn't finish the corn [not the best]. I also had a few random veggies others didn't want! Total lunch = 7 points
After lunch my Mom came to town to bring me down to her house...on her motorcycle! We have family in town this weekend and Kyle was going to spend the day doing homework. She lives in Dayton [my home stomping grounds] and there are always lots of festivities Labor Day weekend...rodeo, parade, carnavil, etc!
Like my sun burn from the game yesterday? Not only do I have an outline from my sunglasses, but I also have one from my Hawkeye tattoo!
We spent the afternoon catching up and chatting away! I grabbed a banana to hold me over until supper for 1 point.
Then I grabbed an apple for 1 point because I found out we were eating down at the rodeo grounds/carnival...not ww friendly!!!
When we got down to the rodeo I ran into my jr high BFF, Tawny! We had a great time catching up quick!! [hi tawny!!!]
We got good seats and then decided on food. My sister Stefanie went for the tenderloin!
There weren't ANY good options, so I asked if I could get some tortilla chips (no nacho cheese or meat) and had some salsa that was on the condiment table. I shared with my sisters. Estimating my serving at 4 points.
It started to rain...coats work just as good as umbrellas...right Wendi?!?! (PS still no baby yet!)
Sisters <3 I love that 3 of us are within 1/2 hour and the 4th is only 3 hours away!
Rodeo time!! No rodeo is complete w/o a clown!
The one armed bandit! He got those 2 bison and the mule to get up there, all with 1 arm!!
Bull riding is always exciting! I'm always so worried for those guys!!
The rodeo was a good time! I hadn't been since my senior year of high school, 8 years ago! When we got back to my Mom's house I made a ham & cheese sandwich for 4 points.

Anyone else been to a rodeo before? Like it? Don't like it? Don't care? I always enjoy it. I think the wild horse race is my favorite!

I haven't been to a rodeo since I was a little girl but I think it'd be entertaining to go to another one. Looks like you had a fun Sunday!

I used to go to rodeos from time to time. I showed registered quarter horses at horse shows which are distinctly different than rodeos though. Good times. :)
