It was so hard to get out of bed for church when my alarm went off at 7:15am since we didn’t make it to bed till after 1am, but we did and it was worth it. Church was really good and we caught up with a few friends!
Afterwards Kyle and I headed home and started making breakfast. It was already after 11am and I hadn’t had anything to eat, so I was quite hungry so I grabbed a small banana to eat for a quick 1 point snack!
It’s pretty much a Sunday tradition to eat breakfast/lunch with Kyle’s parents and any other siblings that might happen to be in town! Today we thought it would be good on our wallets & calories (for me anyway!) to make something at home! I had banana pancakes with PB2 and sugar free syrup for 6 points. I also had a few bites of scrambled eggs that I think I’m going to count for 3 points just to be high.
Everyone else had chocolate chip pancakes with cool whip, turkey sausage, and scrambled eggs! We ate our breakfast, or should I say brunch, while watching the Vikings game! It was a great game and they won!! Next week they will play the Saints! Hoping for another win and then on the SuperBowl!! While watching the half of the game I did sip on Diet Cherry Pepsi. (I’m trying to track my pop intake better to see if it’s really true that whatever is in diet pop leads to sweet cravings…I’m hoping to prove that theory wrong!)
After everyone headed out I knew I had to hit the gym! Kyle has had a nasty cold for the past 2 week and hasn’t been able to go to the gym. But I didn’t let the fact that he was home and couldn’t work out stop me! I got in 40 minutes on the treadmill with a run/walk combo. I went a total 3.33 miles. Now I know that doesn’t sound too great. But I ran 3 miles in just 34 minutes, the rest was walking. If you recall, a few days ago it took me 32 minutes to run 2.65 miles, so I was happy with that progress!
Oh and this picture is proof that I was sweaty…I took it when I got home, but I felt like I had gotten out of the shower for how wet my hair was with sweaty!
Kyle wanted pizza for supper and I was excited because I remembered how much I loved making my little pizzas on english muffins! Well, I mixed things up a bit this time! I made a ham & pineapple flat out pizza! It consisted of 1/4 sauce, 1/4 2% cheese, 1/2 pineapple, and a flat out, totaling only 6 points! And look how big it is!! I also had a side of steamed cauliflower for 0 points! Kyle ordered Caseys’ pizza and I said no thank you without any hesitation!
