Day 4 (Thursday 11/6)

BREAKFAST: Oatmeal & an Apple. 3 points
MORNING SNACK: Veggies & ff Ranch. 2 points
LUNCH: Hot Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Green Beans, & sf Jello. 6 points
SUPPER: 1 c Skim Milk & 2 Tacos (made with ground turkey & ff tortillas). 12 points
TOTAL POINTS = 23
WATER = 146 oz
No exercise :(

I weighed in this morning (Thursday) and I'm down 4 lbs since Monday, so that is exciting to see results. I can't necessarily feel it yet in my body, but it feels good to be in control of what I'm eating. My WW goal was to lose 5 lbs in the first week, so I'm thinking that is very do-able and hopefully I can exceed that goal!

SUPPER: Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast, Mashed Potatoes, & Corn. 11 points

Day 2 (Tuesday 11/4)

BREAKFAST: Oatmeal & an Apple. 3 points
MORNING SNACK: Veggies & Ranch. 2 points

LUNCH: Turkey, Ham, & Cheese Sandwich, Pickles, & Jello. 5 points

SUPPER: Chili & Crackers. 10 points
20 points for the day, not too bad. Especially after the chili. It was leftover from a tailgate party we had last weekend. I just estimated the points to be around 5 originally, then I got to adding it up and I think it was quite a bit more than that, so I went with 10! For some reason this morning I woke up at 5:45am (an hour too early) and was wide awake so I decided to go for a walk. My little puppy was pretty excited about that, she doesn't usually get 30 minute walks in the mornings! Felt good to start off the day with some exercise! I also got in 156 oz of water today.

I joined WW today. I think the meeting time on Tuesday works best for me (5:30pm). When I did it a few years ago I went on Thursdays over my lunch break and I just seemed so rushed. So I think this will work out good and I actually know a few of the ladies at the meeting. I decided to go with the "Monthly Pass". You get free registration, free online e-tools, unlimited monthly meetings, and it came out to the lowest price per week. I thought it sounded like the best deal & I love the idea of the free e-tools, I think I'll use that a lot.

When I did WW before you figured your daily points target based on your weight. Now there are multiple things to determine your daily points target; gender, age, weight, height, & profession. My daily points target came out to 29 points, which I thought was really high. I used to always aim for 20-24 points per day. I think for now I am going to stick with the 24 points per day and see how it goes. I definitely feel satisfied and not starving, so I can't see how eating 5 more points would help me.

Day 1 (Monday 11/3)

My weight is like a rollar coaster. It goes UP and down! And I am going to change that by changing my eating habits and exercising. In the past I have done WW, no carb, Alli, and a few other odd diets and have found, for me, that WW works the best. So tonight is my (last!) first WW weigh in/meeting! Officially though I started yesterday as Day 1 to a smaller me! I have to say that is was a successful day! Here is a recap:

BREAKFAST: Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal & an apple. 3 points
LUNCH: WW SmartOnes Slow Roasted Turkey Breast with mashed potatoes & 1 cup of skim milk. 6 points

SUPPER: Progresso Vegetable & Noodle Soup w/ a cheese sandwich. 6 points

I did have a snack after supper of some FF cool whip (it's like ice cream for me!) for 2 points. I got in 120 oz water, of which I was proud, totaled 17 points for the day (need to get in more points), and also a 30 minute walk with my husband as well. Overall it was a great Day 1!! Let's hope they continue!!
