Coming Clean

Happy Tuesday, friends!! I want to start out by saying thanks for all your kind comments yesterday on the big change going on with me and Kyle. If you missed it, click here!

Since Kyle has some free time he took me to work this morning! I could get used to that! :) I ate breakfast when I got to work, an oats & chocolate fiber one bar for 2 points. DSC07149

A little later on I mixed up some strawberry yogurt & 1/4c grape nuts for a 2 point snack. DSC07150

Like I said yesterday, work is super BUSY right now! Since Kyle brought me to work and I had no wheels to go anywhere for lunch, I ate at my desk so I could get more things done. I had 1/2c cottage cheese with a 1/2c peaches and a Smart Ones meal for a total of 6 points. DSC07151 DSC07152

When Kyle picked me up after work he had Abby with him so I had to bring her in to the office to show her off! She loved the attention and everyone loved her! :)

We stopped at the Dariette on the way home for a lemon ice cream cone! I forgot a picture though. :( Click here for a similar one, I had a regular cone this time. (6 points)

We had breakfast for supper tonight! I had 2 eggs, a bagel thin, and 1c pineapple for 6 points. I LOVE fresh pineapple!DSC07153

I tried to keep this short….but here is the low down on my weight:

Yesterday I also mentioned I was going to “come clean” with what the scale told me this morning. It wasn’t pretty and I’ve been thinking about it all day. I was frustrated, embarrassed, disappointed, yet determined all at the same time. Ok, I’ll just put it out there….172.5. Ugh!!!

I’m going to have Tuesday be my WI day and the start of my week for allowance points.. It used to be the day I went to WW (back when I still went to meetings). When I get back to within 2 lbs of my WW goal weight I plan to go back to meetings. I KNOW those are key in keeping the weight off and being successful.

My WW goal weight was 161 so I need to get to 163 so I can go to meetings again without having to pay. Ultimately though I want to be 150 so I am hoping they won’t make me change my goal weight when I continue to lose weight beyond my WW goal weight. I really do not want to pay again (esp since we are a 1 income family!).

I’m not happy with my current size. I need to remember how I feel right now…defeated & frustrated that I let myself do this AGAIN. All that bad food I ate was NOT worth it. I’m going to focus on that part that, I’m going to stay determined and move forward. That is all I can do!

So my blog friends I’m asking for your help, keep me accountable and if things get out of hand give me a swift talking to or a good kick in the butt!! I’m sure I’ll need it! :)

TUESDAY’S STATS

POINTS = 22/23
WEEKLY ALLOWANCE POINTS = 0 used/35 remaining
ACTIVITY POINTS EARNED =   0 today/0 week
WATER = 88 oz
EXERCISE = none

I can understand how you feel about coming clean. I have the same feelings. So frustrating that at one time I was sooo close to goal! At the same time, I feel determined to NEVER give up! We can do it!

Yay for Kyle!

I had to do a similar post a few weeks ago, and my readers definitely kept me accountable. You know you can lose the weight, I'm rooting for you!

First off ... I love your dinner. Heck, I usually love all your meals. Fresh pineapple is the best. I recently tried those bagel thins too and they are amazing!

Second .... good for coming clean. You will feel so much better getting that off your chest and taking action. I had been starting to let things get out of hand and just a week ago I really buckled down and got serious again. My new WI day is Tuesday too so we can each keep other accountable - K? I was going to wait another week before I posted how I'm doing. But ya know what .... I need to come out and not be afraid of failure. I'll post about it in the morning.

Unless things are alot different down there, you shouldn't have to lower your goal weight if you lose more. Are you Lifetime? I am and have gone well below my goal and have no problem. I think the only time it's an issue is when you are going through the 6 week maintenance phase where you must stay within a certain range around your goal weight.

Don't sweat it... You'll get back there in no time. Just remember that if you've missed a month's weigh in, you will have to pay one time (even if you're within the 2 pounds of your goal). Once you go through maintenance and achieve lifetime, you are free to go below your goal.

Speaking from experience though, I would make the suggestion that you at least consider lowering the goal some once you get to where you want to be. Having a 10+ pound cushion can be a tricky thing sometimes... You see, when you have the ability to creep up to that higher 'goal' it happens.. and ultimately, if you aren't really happy there, then why allow yourself the ability to get back there? You know?

Either way, it's up to you... I just thought I'd add my two cents!

Girl, I am in your EXACT shoes! I weighed in last night and I'm so FAR away from my goal too! (we are about the same #'s away) I have to work at next weeks meeting so I won't be able to listen in and get the encouragement that I always benefit from. We can do this! We can get back to goal!

You can do it girl! We've all been there. Unfortunately it took me gaining 30 pounds to realize that I had to stop and rethink what was important to me. I have full confidence you'll get right back on track! :)

PS: Great news for your hubby! It'll be nice to have him around more often!

Darci! You're back! I missed your posts the past few days. I'm taking a break from blogging until my exams are over- my last ones ever! Poor Kyle- signing on for more exams, but that's so great for both of you.

Just remember that weight is completely fluid and that it comes and goes and you've accomplished this before so you can do it again.

Sorry I missed this post earlier in the week...

I am so with you girl. You are not alone in this!

I have started this week with food blogging and posting it everyday in an effort to get back on the horse!

WE both can do this...and I'll be here cheering you on!

Let's get it done!
