A little late...

Hey everyone!! It's hump day already, the week is flying by!! Kyle and I enjoyed the wonderful weather last night and didn't get inside till after 10pm and I hit the hay first thing which means no blog!

But don't worry I have a quick recap of my Tuesday for you guys!!

I started out the morning with a new "try"! Choco-Monkey Oatmeal! It was wonderful and super simple to make!! I also had a bagel w/ff cream cheese for a total of 5 points for breakfast.

1/3c Oats, one 25 calorie packet diet hot cocca mix, 1/2 medium banana, mashed, 1/8t cinnamon, 1 no calorie sweetener packet, and a dash of salt.

Pour cocoa mix into a glass with cinnamon, sweetener, and salt. Add 1/4c hot water and stir thoroughly. Once cocoa mix has dissolved, add 1/4 c cold water and stir. In a cereal bowl combine cocoa mixture with mashed banana and oats until mixed well. Microwave for 2 points. Stir, cool, & enjoy!

This was a recipe from a new cookbook I got from Hungry Girl!! I'm loving it, there are so many things I want to try!!

And of course I had my regular mid morning snack of 1c strawberries, 1/4c grape nuts, and vanilla yogurt for 3 points.

Lunch was quick and at my desk, so much to do, so little time! I noticed Smart Ones had a few new meals so I picked this one up to try. It was just ok, don't think I would get it again.

My afternoon was crazy! I think I had one too many upset students and by 5pm my brain was fried!! So I headed home!

Supper was also another new try! I made roasted potatoes! I just chopped them up, mixed them in a bowl with 1t of olive oil and some seasonings and baked them for 35-40 minutes! Good stuff! My serving was 3 points.

We grilled out for the other part of our supper! I made my chicken into a sandwich for a total of 5 points.

We spent our evening outside chatting with a few different neighbors and were quite entertained because it was junk day so we had lots of extra traffic in the neighborhood! The funniest was an Impala that had 6 (yes I said 6!) mattresses strapped to the top of the roof! I guess someone's junk is another one's treasure!

Before I hit the hay I did grab a peanut butter fiber one bar for 3 points. I really just wanted something sweet and that was the best option available! ;)

TUESDAY’S STATS

POINTS = 25/23
WEEKLY ALLOWANCE POINTS = 2 used/33 remaining
ACTIVITY POINTS EARNED = 0 today/3 week
WATER = 88 oz
EXERCISE = none

I haven't loved alot of the Smart Ones meals. My favourite is probably the Turkey Dinner - nice and simple. But some of the others - YUCK!

I have that book too. Really should try something from it.

I have that hungry girl cookbook and I love it. It is hard to find some of the things you need to make some of the recipes, but I love her ideas!
