It has arrived, my favorite time of the week! Friday evening, I love the thought of having the next 2 days off! Hooray for weekends!
You better get excited I have something fun to show you, but more on that later!
I started my Friday with a delicious bowl of oatmeal, just the way I like it with a small sliced banana and 1T of almond butter for 5 points.
One of my staff at the office has a nasty cold, so I brought out my defense, orange juice for 2 points! I feel fine, but I DO NOT want to get sick (aka mandatory time away from Hayden!). And I’ve been drinking water like it’s my job! Today I had almost 170 oz, that equal to 20+ 8oz cups!
I had a nice surprise at work this morning, my SIL from Omaha stopped in! She is home for fall break. So we decided to have lunch together! Applebee's was the place of choice!
Laura had a hankering for some mozzarella sticks. I had one…can you believe that there is 100 calories in just one of those little sticks, sheesh! Definitely not worth the 2 points.
Laura ordered the provolone stuffed meatballs with fettuccini, which was really good! Can’t go wrong with cheese stuffed meatballs!
I went with my Applebee’s “staple”, the garlic herb chicken for 7 points. The broccoli was especially delicious today!
We enjoyed our lunch, with great conversation catching up! It was hard to focus this afternoon, for some reason I was quite anxious for the weekend! ;) (Aren’t we all?!?!)
Quitting time finally came and I ended up meeting up my sister, Wendi & Hayden! Wendi’s in the market for a new phone & wanted some shopping help!
I’ll take an unexpected visit from that sweet face any day! :)
After shopping we whipped up a quick supper, 3 courses to be exact!
Appetizer: 1/4c cottage cheese & peaches for 1 point
2nd Course: green beans with a sprinkle of bacon bits for 0 points
Entree: Grilled chicken breast with a slice of ff swiss cheese for 5 points. Filling & delicious!
Ok, now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for….(I like to build up the suspense!)

Check out my outdoor fall display!
Let’s go in for a close up!
I wanted to include some corn stalks & a bale of hay, but decided 10:30pm wasn’t the best time to visit a corn field! ;) Eeekk!
Painting the pumpkins was super fun! I am especially loving fall this year! Today it was a nice 80 degree, fall day! Just doesn’t seem right for Iowa, but hey I’ll take it!
FRIDAY’S STATS

WEEKLY ALLOWANCE POINTS = 0 used/35 remaining

Well friends, that’s a wrap for today! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend to the very fullest! I leave you with this quote that I love!
RISK MORE than others think is safe. CARE MORE than others think is wise. DREAM MORE than others think is practical. EXPECT MORE than others think is possible.

Love your halloween display!! Puts mine to shame :)
I just love getting to see little glimpses into your life through pictures! Your halloween display is awesome.
Great decorations. I love the quote! Thanks for the bday wishes!
We get minute maid orange juice in South African but not here in Germany.
Another story...
In South Africa its not a tradition to decorate the houses for any of the seasons as you dont really notice them as you do in other countries...its summer or winter...and its either hot or cool...
But here in Germany everyone also decorates, I love that...as I am going home soon I have not decorated this year...but look forward to decoration for Xmas when I get back.
Fabulous quote and great decorations. Love the polka dot pumpkin!!! Don't you hate when something as good as mozzerella sticks is that many calories and points it really makes it not worth it!
xo
I LOVE the polka dot pumpkins! So cute! That's a great fall display. I wish I had a porch to decorate! We bought some pumpkins at a little roadside stand last weekend and one of them is all rotted out already!
Eats look great- Hayden looks adorable & I love your fall decorations! :) Have a great weekend!
