Remember this post? Yep, that was about 4 weeks ago. There has been a lot going on in those 4 weeks. Kyle's [one & only] Grandpa passed away kinda suddenly and I feel like I've practically been living in my office. So with that, I got lazy....again....I know!!!
You know how it is when a family member passes away, you're all together for a week. people are constantly coming over bringing all kinds of food, so of course, I ate it, and not much for activity! Also I think it's something I do when I'm emotional, eat!
So to save time just click here and read this post I did early July...that will tell just how I'm feeling now!
Obviously with 4 weeks of bad eats & no exercise I will not be able to meet my birthday challenge, but nonetheless, I'm moving forward!
I've come the conclusion that I'm either 100% On Plan [OP], nothing stopping me, eating my daily points to a "T"....OR either WAY off and when I say WAY off, I mean it! I need to find a happy medium with consistency, where those "triggering events" [overload of goodies & food at family things] don't send me over the edge and I'm able to get right back "on plan" the next day. So that is what I'm going to work on!
Monday was my first day back on plan and it felt great! Without further ado, here is my day!
I had blueberry muffin oatmeal for breakfast with a few frozen blueberries and a toasted english muffin for 3 points.
Like I said earlier, work is crazy busy right now! I didn't get a chance to run home for lunch until about 2:15! I threw a quick plate together consisting of 1c grapes, baby carrots, and a hot ham & cheese sandwich for 4 points.
I rushed back to the office and didn't slow down until about 9:45pm! I couldn't believe my stomach didn't yell at me before this! I called it a day and headed home. I didn't want to go to bed on an empty stomach so I had 3/4c honey nut Cheerios with a 1/2c skim milk for 3 points.
When I was measuring out my cereal last night I added up my points for the day and was completely blown away, only 10 total, not planned and not good. But I think I didn't realize it because I was SO INCREDIBLY busy at work. During this busy time at work I need to be more aware of my points and be sure I get them all in for the day.
