Days 150-157 (Friday 4/3-Friday 4/10)

Hey all my lovely blog buddies!!

First of I have to apoligize. I haven't blogged in a WEEK!! Holy cow!! Don't worry nothing bad happened...no earth shattering news and I didn't fall off the wagon. Just didn't blog. Life for some reason has just been really crazy and I'm sorry I've been lazy with my blog. I know it helps me stay on track better 'cause I know I have to report to all of you at the end of the day what I ate/did!

I stayed fairly OP the past week. A few slip ups....but hey who doesn't have those?? I feel like I've been more on the maintaining part and not losing. So today...Saturday April 11th is a new day for me. I am going to be more strict with myself and get back to blogging!

I did take pictures of the majority of my meals the past week, but I am not going to bore you with those details! I worked out only 4/7 days. Ouch! I want to get back in the exercising mode again too.

I need to lose at least 5 more lbs I think to feel more comfortable and determine if that is a good weight for me or if I will still need to lose more. I look at myself and still see "chub" and I know it a whole lot more than 5lbs!!! Do any of you who have met your goal have any advice for me on a "good weight"? I feel good where I'm at...but not 100% happy and that is why I think I want to lose more...sigh I don't know what to do!

Oh and my scrapbooking weekend last weekend was fun! We did get snow. But I ended up coming home early so I didn't get stranded there because I got everything I brought scrapbooked so I didn't want to get stuck with nothing to scrap!!

Well everyone I am off to catch up with all of your blogs! Hope everyone is enjoying their Easter weekend.

Welcome back! I was starting to worry a little bit. Glad to hear everything is ok!

I know exactly what you mean. I've sort of fallen into maintenance mode myself, even though I still have weight I'd like to lose. Since I'm stuck in my own little rut, I don't have any advice for you. :) Good luck!

So nice to see you!!

To be honest, I think you have to ask yourself the reason why you feel like you need to lose more weight. Is it because it would make you healthier? Would 5 pounds actually make you happier? 5 pounds is 5 pounds... it's 5 pounds less than the number on the scale right now and chances are it will not make that big of a difference in your life.

Take the trip you had to Florida.. if you were 5 pounds lighter, would it have made you had a better time?

As you can see I think 5 pounds is such a small number that I personally believe that if you are sitting there thinking to yourself "If I could only lose just 5 more pounds" then you've already hit your happy weight. I believe it's normal for us to always *want more* especially when it comes to losing weight because you are so used to seeing the number get lower and lower that all of a sudden when you're at a stable weight for a while you think "uh, now what?"

Point is after all this madness? You look great.. it sounds like you feel great. How about trying to maintain your healthy lifestyle & weight and enjoying your weight loss for a while? You could always try to lose those 5 pounds in a couple of months if you still feel like they are daunting you.

Hang in there!!

Girl, I was seriously starting to worry about you. LOL Welcome home. Glad you had a great time.

Ya know, I've read about people who lose a lot of weight and no matter how much they lose they still see a chubby person. One lady lost 100 pounds and was a size 2 and still saw chubby when she wasn't. I think it's a mental thing. This lady couldn't get over it and gained back all of her weight. You are not chubby at all. You look so healthy and radiant!
Again, welcome home. The blogging world is complete again. haha

Glad to see you posting again! :-) I think you look great, but everyone has their own idea of what the optimum healthy weight is for themselves.
